LilRed - as stated above - our folding chairs were under the bed.
Also the “high back” on our OEM dining chairs was hitting the window valence everytime I sat down. Had to reattach the valence bottom several times. I got tired of doing that - so we bought some new chairs that fit under the valence at a big box furniture store. I stored the chairs in the garage until we decided what to do with them. Also had to fix the hinge on the seat storage several times.

Our folding chairs did not hold up. We brought them into the house for extra seating one Christmas. The “matchstick pine” split at a hinge for one of them. I decided against trying to re-glue and fix them. I ended up using them for kindling and we bought some better quality folding chairs at an estate sale. I decided the OEM dining chairs were not fit to give to Goodwill, so they went into the kindling pile also. Maybe I got a bad run of wood but they did not hold up.
