I have towed my 41 ft fifth wheel trailer getting on highway 1 in San Luis Obispo then to 101 all the way up to San Francisco then to Willits many times. No snow/ice, clearance, tight curves. Places to stay........Morgan Hill, Petaluma Elks Club are both off 101. Beyond that take a look at this link:
