The only thing I hate worse than sitting on a cactus with no pants on is doing my own auto mechanics. I'm a great wood worker, carpenter, mason, electrician. But when it comes to combustion engines of any type, automobiles, or lawn mowers.... I absolutely choose the cactus any day!
With that said, the ONLY place I allow anyone to touch my vehicles are certified GM dealerships. Yes, I probably pay too much for a simple oil and filter change, but the alternative (for me) is to get naked and find a desert cactus somewhere!
