ByronB - just curious - what model is your RV? Is it a front closet model?

I do not have a front closet model - but when you said "wife noticed the closet ceiling coming down" - my first thought was to look at the possibility of a leak at the front cap/roof joint.

However - other folks here that have a front closet may have better suggestions for a fix. I would be concerned about finding the proper structure/studs to tie a new support to for the rod. That ceiling paneling offers ZERO structural support.
