we use ours here and there, but the one time it was a must, we were camping at a lake and the kids were playing in muck! you know that really dark black filthy muck....well the kids had it CAKED in their hair and there was no way they wanted any part of a cold hose! at that moment....the optional price didn't matter anymore!
it's not used much, but well worth it if you need it!
