Not meaning to sound like a jerk, but, if I were to spend 100k for a knee replacement and the artificial knee were defective and the hospital said they would repair or replace it for free and they ultimately did an exceptional job I still would not find that either comforting or satisfactory. Neither would virtually anyone I know.
