I went with a Yakima roof mount system. Installed on 2015 F-350 ccsb about 4 years ago. 2 rails installed the length of the roof, then location adjustable cross bars shaped like an airfoil. Saddle mounts for the kayaks. Adjustable straps to hold the kayaks down. The saddles can be removed if other items, bikes, cargo cage, etc are to be carried. A really solid install.
