They are absolutely amazing. We fluctuated from -2 to +2 all day yesterday. I checked our mini split several times and it was never blowing air below 90. It was usually mid and upper 90's. Blows my mind how this is possible with no heat strips while only pulling 6 to 7 amps at 120 Volt.

Our 4 ton conventional heat pump for the main house also did well. It was blowing low 80's at the farthest floor register. With thermostat set at 68 the heat strips did kick in every couple hours. Temps at the same register then went to 125+ but the electric meter nearly fell off the side of the house.

If I were fulltime traveling or just living in a camper for what ever reason, I would make the investment in a mini split. Without a doubt.
