Our 4 ton conventional heat pump for the main house also did well. It was blowing low 80's at the farthest floor register. With thermostat set at 68 the heat strips did kick in every couple hours. Temps at the same register then went to 125+ but the electric meter nearly fell off the side of the house. 
If I were fulltime traveling or just living in a camper for what ever reason, I would make the investment in a mini split. Without a doubt. |
The unit in the kitchen was blowing 130 degree air. If you think about it that amazing. It’s taking enough heat out of 10 degrees air to blow 130 degree air. And that’s with the fan on high. You can feel the air movement 25 feet.
