The tanks are ABS plastic. I repaired mine where it has split at the top. I just used ABS black glue from Home Depot. I also got some 1/8 thick ABS plastic I spread the glue on the crack and on the piece of of 1/8 ABS clamped it together with spring clamp and it has been holding for 2 years now. I also was able to fix it with the tank in the trailer
