Don’t worry about being “insurance compliant”. If you have insurance your insurance can’t deny coverage. Think about this if you drive drunk, speed, run a stop sign or red light or are over weight you are covered. If your insurance company could deny coverage for any thing they would always find a way to deny coverage. If in doubt go to your agent and have them contact your company. I did after the issue was brought up here.
