Helen used a modified version of what we do. We purchased the vinyl at the fabric department at Wal-Mart but instead of attaching it with Velcro, I remove the screen spline and place the vinyl over the screen on the outside and then re-insert the screen spline and then trim the excess vinyl with a razor blade or utility knife. If the vinyl gets soiled, torn or scratched it is an easy replacement. If you use this procedure, it works better if you remove the door and lay it flat on a table or something similar. I would think any fabric store would likewise have the vinyl. I did notice that the last time I was in Wal-Mart, they even had a smoke colored vinyl, which is what we hope to use next.
