What I like about the velcro is the ease of removal when we want the fresh air. I cut the velcro in half lengthwise so the strips are narrow and you don't even notice when we don't have the vinyl on. I used the white velcro.. You can find the vinyl at fabric stores and the light weight works great. It doesn't need to be thick like a table cloth, mine is the 8 gauge.
