Raffles, Raffles, & MORE Raffles!

As the coordinators for the raffles @ the Fall Rally, its that time again for Bev & I (Jim & Bev Schlee, aka 'worknomore') to put out the call for Ticket Sellers, Raffles/Chinese Auction, & Door prize donations. We will also have a 50/50 raffle in addition to the above raffles. This is the 'Kick-Off event for the 2021 National Rally. Other event announcements will follow, as the WM's get them organized.

If you would like to help selling tickets at all of the events (good way for folks to meet each other), just post it here on this thread: 6 -8 volunteers is what we're looking for.

As for prizes/giveaways, ANYTHING RV-related is appreciated, although we won't turn away other items. The only thing we ask is that your donation is NEW & USEFUL - please no garage sale leftovers or used stuff. The best way to acquire some good items is to hit up the dealers where you've spent your life savings on a new Montana. If they donate (or any other store for that matter), be sure to get some business cards from them that we'll put out by the gifts/donations, & thank them profusely for their donation(s). Post comments on THIS thread if you've got some things to donate so we can keep track as to how things are going.

Finally, the money generated from all of these raffles is usually donated to local and/or national charities where it can be put to the best use - charities that spend most of their money on salaries, etc. are not even considered. Those charities chosen by the Grand Poohbah's (Wagon Masters) & MOC Admins will be announced sometime during Rally Week.

Phew - last but not least, the remainder goes to cover expenses for the current rally, as well as seed money for the following year's rally. REMEMBER - the MOC is a user-run forum. It is up to us to keep things going for the future...!

Having said all that

Lets get to work folks & fill up those prize tables, AND thanks in advance for your contributions...!!!

9/13 - Dexter has added a set (front & rear) of 8k 'Gladiator' axles, COMPLETE with Brakes, Drums, & Springs, Dexter installation OR shipping to your dealer (you pay installation). This is a $4500.00 value! They've also thown in a complete set (4) of 12" x 2" brake assemblies ($480.00 value). I've put these items up on the Silent Auction table, along with a couple other items. Take time to look & BID!

Everybody likes FREE, so here's the deal: Everyone who brings a NEW raffle prize worth $25.00 or more (MSRP w/proof) will get 5 FREE Raffle Tickets. Bring 2 & get 10 tickets, etc. Can't beat that deal folks, so hop on the bandwagon, rustle up some prizes, & get rewarded for the effort! Tickets will be given when you bring the prizes to the EEC building...
