This is a picture I just took of our stock ‘18 F350 6.7 tailpipe with just shy if 112,000 miles and it’s cleaner than most gasoline powered cars.

My 2014 RAM 2500 Cummins at 103000 miles was as clean as yours.
Soot is not NOx.
The DPF catches and cleans the soot by burning it off inside the DFP using extra diesel fuel.
The NOx issue is due to programming in the ECU.
