When my wife’s brother was being treated at the VA hospital at Gainesville, FL we spent a couple of weeks at the Dixieland RV Park. I didn’t get many pictures because we were on the go a lot.
After talking with the park owner we were offered a FHU site in a newly developed area of the park. Because of our situation we were given a very generous discount.
Right across the street is the Waldo combination farmer’s market/flea market. There is a full service Wal-Mart about a mile away and numerous eateries at Starke, FL.
The park has at least two large music festivals a year. They are very popular and you’d better get reservations during those events, otherwise, there are normally sites available “on the fly”.
