Yes. Original hangers are lightweight compared to the ones they will replace it with. Mine had cracked sometime back and rusted until it was fatigued, then completely broke. Definitely replace. Most trailer repair companies are familiar with the replacement you need and will check the others. I had a wet bolt kit installed at the same time.
