Sorry, I read the OP wrong thinking you wanted a wider tire. I’ve seen the wear you’re describing on cars/trucks with too wide a tire. I was also looking at our tires and the edges are worn more but also slightly more to the outside. Maybe an alignment issue as stated. I keep the tires at 110 psi so I know it’s not from under inflation.
Anyway, a quick web search does show 16x7’s available with 4080 lb and 4400 lb wt ratings. If you get a wider wheel, would be helpful to know if they help with your wear.
