Well, where you are going you won't be heating up the tires from driving too fast! No freeways the rest of the way for you....
We drove up twice and had no tire issues either time.
Tho, darn frost heaves got me. First one I hit they had marked with orange flag (used a LOT). Hardly felt it. So next one I see, I went over it at 40 mph. Ouch. Never know when to go 25 and when to go 40.
Are you going to go over the 'Top of World' highway? An experience in itself!
