Where we currently are, I would not be able to open the left side no more than a foot or so before hitting my neighbors picnic table.
Some Campgrounds are pretty tight.
Opening vertically is no problem.
I did the Pool noodles on our other fifth wheel, I’m 6’2” and always hitting my head. The new 3231 CK bedroom slide is high enough for me to walk underneath, but when I’m digging around in the basement (drivers side) I still bang my head on the baggage door. Just think they could make it more friendly by using a swing door, they could even split the door in two.
