This is just my personal opinion. Buy the hitch that fits your needs. When I say that, I mean several things. First, does your hitch stay in the truck or do you have to get to a clean bed. If the hitch stays in the bed, you have a lot more choices. If it stays in the bed and you have a short bed, you can go fixed, manual slider or auto slider. Your budget will help determine which works best for you. I will say, no one ever used a fixed hitch in a short bed and said I want to hit my cab - I just don’t turn that sharp. With all of the manufacturers out there, you have lots of good choices. I will say, for me, I got away from the Pullrite 2600 (similar to the Anderson) because I didn’t want to put myself in a warranty issue with Lippert if I had frame flex on my new Montana. Again, these are my personal opinions, not facts.
