I have several that are hard to get to without pulling the tires. I bought a Lock-n-lube coupler and even an expensive 90 degree fitting, but it is still hard to reach a few of them. I've read elsewhere that some turn the bolt around so that the zerk is exposed from underneath to make this job easier.
It does not matter which way you install the wet bolts. You can install them whichever way makes them easier to get at. My grease gun set up JUST fits on the zerks behind the tires, they will be getting switched when/if I change bolts and bushings someday.
