This is the one I purchased to crimp the cable end. I have a frayed cable but have not replaced it yet. The product description says it works on 5/32 ferrels.
Make sure the stand off where the cable end attaches is lined up correctly or the new cable will get frayed also. On mine I could see where it is not lined up where it goes into the wall causing the cable to fray.
