Put it in a vice, carefully warmed it up with a torch, bent it over, tapped it with a hammer to get a nice 90 degree bend, let it cool.
This slide sits on the UHMW all the time; unlike the dining slide that ramps up onto the UHMW as it starts to retract.
All the screws underneath are counter sunk and glued. You will notice I drilled holes for two rows of screw; before I found out there is only backing material for a screw to bite into on the edge of the slides. A couple inches in from the edge, it feels like cardboard. Only time will tell, but with it fastened inside, I think it will hold ok.
This is the kitchen slide. The dining slide has a solid floor the entire width; I put three UHMW strips on it; one on each end, one in the middle. They are all beveled. No issue with the edge catching on that slide; it raises up as it starts to retract. But, if I had to do it over again, I would do both sides like this.
