I have adjusted cables per the manual but before I start tearing things apart, I am wondering how these are constructed. Do they roll in and out on some kind of roller setup? What could be causing such a jerky and loud motion when its going in or out? I can't get to the underside without disassembly and wondered if anyone knowing a lot more than I do has any thoughts before I start surgery.

We had the same exact problem on our 2013 343RL with the kitchen slide. Super easy fix. Open the slide and use a PTFE spray on the rollers under the slide. Let it dry and do it again. Run the slide in and out a couple times after it dries. Do this a couple times a season. Here's what I got. I did it on every slide.
