Our old truck rides like a sled when empty. Especially with 80lb psi in the rear tires. It actually rides much better with the camper attached or heavy load in the bed. The ride when empty has always been my biggest complaint moving up to a 1 ton truck from a 3/4 ton truck. Strange thing is I've been in duallys that feel much softer when unloaded than our SRW.
Always thought it was just the price you pay to haul these big campers around. Not really a big deal to us.
