I just returned from a brief trip, 400 miles round trip. Fuel prices varied $1.00 per gallon within the first 100 miles. I am definitely moving forward with auxiliary fuel tank. Adding an additional 50 to 60 gallons to go along with the factory 48 gallon tank. I have already weighed the truck (loaded with full tank of 48 gallons) as well as truck and 5’er to insure I have sufficient payload capacity and proper load distribution. With my plans for the next three years, $1,000 investment will definitely pay me back, financially as well as in convenience
