Campfire Volunteers
One of the best ways to get the most out of the National Rally is to
volunteer for something.
Well as luck would have it, we have a simple volunteer opportunity for you. We are looking for a few volunteers to oversee the evening campfire.
Responsibilities would include the following:
1. Check the fire pit area in the morning for any trash that may have been missed from the previous night.
2. Clean the ash out of the fire pits if they were used the previous night.
3. Re-fill the fire pits with wood in preparation for the evening campfire.
4. Just before the scheduled time for the evening campfire, light the fire.
5. Monitor the fire throughout the evening adding firewood as necessary.
6. Put the fire out cold with the water hose provided at the end of the campfire program.
7. Check the area for trash.
There is room for multiple volunteers in this role, as we would like to have a separate volunteer for each night of the rally, along with a single campfire coordinator to oversee the whole process (this person would be the main point of contact for any campfire related questions and would not need to attend every campfire).
