Go to Seldoltna and stay in Fred Myers for free (up to 3 days) - the Homer spit is about 1 1/2 hours from there and you can dry camp for $15. Then go to Seward after the 4th. We are here on the spit - it is fabulous and Bob and Pam are now parked next to us. Bob and Pam leave Sunday for Seward.
