Generators have a floating ground.
IF, you have an EMS, it will not allow power through.
If you can disconnect your EMS and plug your 30A dogbone directly into the Generator it will work fine.
IF you cannot bypass the EMS, you will need a bonding plug to plug into any regular receptacle on the Generator.
The bonding plug bonds the neutral and ground together like your house is wired.
