did not realize the gas valves on the stove were like a pilot gas system....until just a bit ago....


I have to hold down on the stove gas valve(s) and then hit the igniter...then hold the valve down about 5 seconds for the stove to stay lit


I realize my questions are newbie....but I do not have a RV friend close by to run some of this stuff past
