I just use the Camco RV Awning cleaner, mix a strong solution of it and use a garden sprayer to coat the entire awning, then roll up the awning still wet. Maybe 30 minutes later, unroll the awning and use a car wash brush on an extending pole to lightly scrub it and then rinse.
