Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I agree with part but not all that is said about the tailgater (and other portable satellites). They lack the voltage to work through connections. Mine wouldn’t even work with just a connector to a new coax. I have only been able to get it to work connected direct. Everyone seems to blame Keystone, when the real issue appears to me to be the Winegard equipment. Just my humble opinion. We have our G3 mounted on the roof and ran the cable inside the rear cap direct to the Dish receiver.
