Are we certain those fixtures in the dining area are 120 vac lights? Asking because I previously owned a '87 Fleetwood fiver and all the lighting even in that vintage was 12vdc.
If a VOM set to check AC voltage on a DC circuit, dependent upon the make of the VOM one probably would not read any voltage.... Just food for thought
