Looks just like the pendants on my 3800re. Mine used the dreaded automotive wedge based bulbs and were a pain to replace. I changed the sockets to use bayonet base bulbs. Much better. To remove the glass from the fixture, remove the bulb, reach way up into the glass and there will be a nut to take off. Will require a mutant with long skinny fingers or a nut driver or anything you can find that will reach the nut. I did't use butt connectors, but male and female insulated spade connectors, so i could plug together and unplug when needed. John
