Here in western Va not many people make a living farming. Most farms like mine it’s to just keep the land with no hope of actually making any money. Our neighbor said it takes 2 businesses to support one farm. His farm was bigger than ours.
I was through the corn belt several years ago and the corn was 3 feet tall, and then just a few stalks per acre. You feel sorry for these farmers.
I wonder is this weather or climate. I guess it’s too early to tell.
