When we went fulltime Progressive offered about the best tailored policy for the best price. After buying our Florida home and switching to part time use of the Montana Progressive only reduced our premium by about $100 a year. I wasn't going to pay over $900 a year as a part time camper.

After days of calling around the getting quotes I finally went with Farmer's Insurance. I have a local Illinois agent and I can remove the collision from the policy when my Montana is in storage. Now I am paying right at $700 a year. I probably could have dropped some more stuff and even got it a little cheaper but I'm good with their price for now.
