Did you use wood+plywood to build mounting structure for the slide brackets?

I bought a Onan P4500i and I would like to build a slide mount like yours.
I have been taking some measurements of my front compartment.
I have a 3.5" PVC drain pipe that might be in the way a bit. I think it is a gray water drain from the front bathtub. You can see it in the pic below. I will try to determine if it gray water or black this weekend.
