They stopped the odd/even a couple weeks ago. You can complete both N & S loops of the Grand Loop. You can not go to Lamar Valley road that leads to the NE entrance or NW of Mammoth to the NW entrance. Every day we went into the park there wasn’t a line of any kind. 2 days we were the only car at the entrance. Only 1 day did we encounter a couple parking issues. I’ve never been here before but am told the traffic was less than half normal. We saw both Black and Griz bears as well as the more populated animals.
