Diesel guy is correct. I should not even ask, cause I have zero knowledge, but is there a loss of amperage based on length of cord? I would think a lot of heat would be generated as well. I recently ran power out to mine rig, using heavy gauge underground wire to a box with breakers. It was fairly inexpensive, less than a power cord I think! In had my 25 ft 50 amp cord stolen last year. 50 footer would be an expensive loss!
