I do understand the concerns that arise because of higher fuel prices. It's not just the fuel, but everything moves by trucks that use fuel. So, everything is probably going to go up.

With that said, I looked at what my MPG's are, and the difference at $3 a gallon versus $5 a gallon. The difference at my 8.9 mpg is about $600 on a 3000 mile round trip. There are ways to cut back to achieve some of that difference. (Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches work for me for lunch.)

So in may, we head out. I have an appointment in Gaffney, SC, and from there - who knows.

We all do what we have to do, and no one know exactly how the other ones are faring.
