I may do the swap. I had one on my previous trailer (16k model) and my only complaints were the air bag leak down after a few days and the amount you have to lift the trailer to clear the ball. I don't see this being a problem with the hydraulic jacks. They have a lot of travel. With electrical, it sucked since the electric jacks only had about 7-8" of travel. If you were on an uneven site front-to-back, you couldn't easily get it unhitched and leveled again. Between the 3-4" of lift required to clear the ball and the 2-3" of distance to unload the truck springs, it was a pain.

I also looked at the Gen-Y hitch GH-8045 & GH-8055. They said they haven't got through all the testing with LCI. They cost more than the Goosebox, but eliminates the air bag out of the equation.

The 8055 has a higher GVWR limit & pin weight than the 8045 (18k)
