I would not stand on the roof of any slide out.. unless you want problems down the road..

IF the slide is a hydraulic slide out changing the wiper seal is two screws and yank the seal out of the clip on track and install new one and two screws.. a ten minute job at most that you can easily do from the top of the main roof or as previously stated open the slide out just far enough to get your hand in between to remove and replace the seal
