I have had an inverter in both my rigs. Under the bed along the edge. My cpap plugs into that when we boondock. That doesn't happen much tho. It works fine. I had to put in this gigantic fuse inline and a very heavy line to the inverter. I ran it thru the same area as something else that goes to the bedroom slide.
