Had to replace ours while on the road a few years back. Not difficult, but hard to get into spaces, etc. Ours failed as the lame composite wood scraps the factory put under the tank deteriorated and the tank cracked while driving around Chicago. MAKE SURE you support the tank well with solid wood pieces, not plywood or composite.
