This is a heads up to those who have this residential fridge. Ours is in our 2021 3791RD.
The OEM XWFE water filter has a RFID chip glued to it. If you purchase some of the generic water filters, they may not have the chip and the solenoid for the water dispenser and ice maker will not open for the water supply if it does not sense the RFID chip. Ours showed a ERR error message for the filter. The generic filters are way less expensive but buyer beware - they may not work. Once I installed a OEM filter, everything worked as it should.
