My first Montana was a 2006 model. It had the side swing doors, if memory is correct. I had no problem with it and I don't think it leaked much. But I only travel in the summer and most places it doesn't rain that much summertime. I would gladly take them now, as I can barely get into the storage area without bending over a lot.
