We had a 2011 f-250 - 6.5 foot bed, pulling a Montana High country HC353 (38 ft oal) and pulled with the Goosebox. We could turn almost 90 degrees with the 5er. Never had issues. Plus the Goosebox has some suspension (shocks and an air bag) to help chucking. Pull now with a 350 LB Duelly and no issues. Still love the Goosebox. A little more messing around when hooking up but it is great to take the gooseneck ball out and have a wide open bed. Good luck!
