Brakes When to replace?
Hello,
I have a 2010 295 RK Mountaineer, We are the Original Owners.
I Pack my own bearings over the years, started every other, now I do every 3 Years.
That being said,
How long do the Brakes Last, as I have the Self Adjusting 6K Axles?
I took Pictures of my Brakes 3 years ago, when I packed the bearings, they still had "Meat" on them.
Most of my Travels is the Freeway, pulling with my 2005 Chev. Dually Diesel, so I use the Allison for Braking when I'm driving, Bride does drive some mostly on the Freeway, just to spell me.
Bottom Line
When do Folks replace their Brakes on their Rigs, it is 12 years old?
Do not want to pull the Hubs to repack, and find the Linings too far gone.
I can get the Replacements just have to order them.
