An update from the road to Alaska. We did our first Alaska RV trip in 2014. We struggled to do email and other simple things. It was an internet desert. 2023, and StarLink arrives to Canada/Alaska. We are currently in Whitehorse, YT. I could not be happier with our install. It takes us about 5 minutes to setup StarLink and the weather station on the back ladder without having to climb up. We have had a few occasions where we have had an obstruction, but not bad, even in the trees at Liard Hot Springs. We added a Roku stick and have been following national news and weather thanks to the Live feature. I am not saying everyone should set up the way we did, merely saying it is working great for us. We brought along an Eero satellite and Arkware has it in his rig. We are both using my StarLink for streaming and internet (and phone in remote areas using WiFi calling). We lost Dish back around Lake Louise, which was expected. Sirius comes and goes. DishAnywhere has not been great.
